Participation in the 12th Assembly and the 5th Symposium of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions

At the invitation of the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China (CNAO), our Director and a Principal Auditor (Teo Wing-on) attended the 12th Assembly and the 5th Symposium of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions as members of the People's Republic of China Delegation. The Delegation was led by Mr Dong Dasheng, Deputy Auditor General of the CNAO. The Assembly and the Symposium were held in Jaipur, India, from 27 February to 3 March 2012.

The Audit Commission's participation in the Assembly and the Symposium was very useful in helping us keep abreast of the developments in public sector auditing. It also provided a good opportunity for us to exchange views and share good practices with our Mainland and other Asian counterparts.
