Staff of Audit Commission participated in the "Cross straits, Hong Kong and Macao Audit Theories and Practices Conference 2013"

On 13 May 2013, the "Cross straits, Hong Kong and Macao Audit Theories and Practices Conference 2013" was held in Nantou County, Taiwan. At the invitation of the organisers, the Audit Commission sent a delegation of three staff members — Edmund Chow (Senior Auditor), Anthony Lo (Auditor), and Christine Chung (Examiner), to participate in the Conference.

Our delegation presented two papers at the Conference — "Governance and administration of Direct Subsidy Scheme schools" and "Regulatory control of private hospitals".

The Conference provided a very good opportunity for our delegation to exchange views and ideas on the recent development of public sector audit with other participants.
