Staff of Audit Commission participated in the "Cross straits, Hong Kong and Macao Audit Theories and Practices Conference 2014"

On 13 and 14 May 2014, the China Audit Society organised the "Cross straits, Hong Kong and Macao Audit Theories and Practices Conference 2014" in Taian, China. At the invitation of the organiser, the Audit Commission sent a delegation of three officers (Tony Ng (Senior Auditor), Elaine Chang (Auditor) and Alex Lau (Examiner)) to participate in the Conference.

Our delegation presented at the Conference a paper entitled "Application of computer-assisted tools and technique in audit — Experience sharing by the Audit Commission".

The Conference provided a very good opportunity for our delegation to exchange views and ideas on the recent development of public sector audit with other participants.
