Audit Commission Job Shadow Day
On 18 May 2015, 15 students from Law Ting Pong Secondary School visited our office to attend the Audit Commission Job Shadow Day. Ten audit staff (including Auditors and Examiners) served as workplace mentors to share their work experience with these students.
The day was kicked off with a warm welcome from our Deputy Director, Mr John Chu. Three officers (Teo Wing-on, Francis Po and Jimmy Ng) of the Technical Administration Branch (TAB) introduced to the students the programme for the day and gave them a briefing of the Commission's work. Other activities included office tour to all Divisions of the Commission, networking lunch and job shadowing activities with students' mentors.
The last activity for the students was a debriefing and closing session with our Director, the mentors and TAB staff. The students and mentors shared their experiences of the day. After our Director's closing remarks and taking group photographs, the Job Shadow Day came to a successful end.
