Staff of Audit Commission participated in the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Audit Conference 2015 — Performance Audits"

On 11 and 12 September 2015, three officers of the Audit Commission (Edmund Chow (Senior Auditor), Flora Wan (Auditor) and Willy Ho (Examiner)) attended the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Audit Conference 2015 — Performance Audits". The Conference was held in Zhu Hai. A total of nine delegations participated in the Conference, i.e. the Audit Office of Guangdong Province, our Commission, the Commission of Audit of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Audit Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality, the Audit Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, the Audit Bureau of Zhu Hai Municipality, the Audit Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality, the Audit Bureau of Foshan Municipality and the Audit Bureau of Shantou Municipality.

Our delegation presented at the Conference a paper entitled "Public cooked food markets managed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department".

The Conference provided a very good opportunity for the delegations to exchange views and ideas on how to conduct performance audits.
