Participation in the "粵港財稅、審計部門交流座談會"

At the invitation of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, our Deputy Director Mr John Chu, Principal Auditors Mr Teo Wing-on and Ms Hildy Chan, and Senior Auditor Ms Mimi Wong attended the "粵港財稅、審計部門交流座談會", a Conference held in Guangzhou on 14 January 2016. The Mainland delegation comprised deputies and representatives from the Department of Finance of Guangdong Province, the Audit Office of Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Provincial Office of the State Administration of Taxation, the Guangdong Provincial Local Taxation Bureau, and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province. The Hong Kong delegation comprised deputies and representatives from our Commission, the Inland Revenue Department, the Treasury, the Companies Registry, and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Representatives from the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Cooperation also took part in the Conference.

The Conference facilitated participants’ understanding of each other’s work. It also fostered communication and created opportunities for a constructive exchange of views on various aspects.
