Director of Audit's visit to the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China

At the invitation of Ms Hu Zejun, Auditor General of the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China (CNAO), the Director of Audit and three officers (Mr John Chu, Ms Hildy Chan and Mr Francis Po) of the Audit Commission visited the CNAO at Beijing during 9 to 11 April 2018. Our delegation met Ms Hu and senior officials of the CNAO and had a constructive discussion with them on the areas of audit methodology, application of IT in conducting audit and training of audit staff. The meeting provided a very good opportunity for us to better understand the audit work of the CNAO and its latest development.

The delegation also took this opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to Mr Huang Liuquan, the Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. Deputy Director Huang has affirmed the work of the Audit Commission.
