Visit by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants to Audit Commission

On 9 July 2020, a delegation from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) visited the Audit Commission and participated in our half-yearly in-house training seminar. Led by President Mr Johnson Kong and comprising Vice President Mr Nelson Lam, Chief Executive and Registrar Ms Margaret Chan, Director of Corporate Communications Dr Wendy Lam and Head of Corporate Communications and Member Services Ms Rachel So, the delegation gave our colleagues presentations on financial reporting standards and the work of HKICPA. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, while only a limited number of colleagues attended the seminar in the conference room for the sake of social distancing, the seminar was broadcasted live to all other audit staff in the headquarters via a video conferencing tool.
