Audit Commission Job Shadow Day
On 18 May 2011, 20 students from Kwok Tak Seng Catholic Secondary School and S.K.H. Bishop Baker Secondary School visited our office to attend the Audit Commission Job Shadow Day. Ten young audit staff (including Auditors and Examiners) served as workplace mentors to share their work experience with these students.
The day was kicked off with a warm welcome from our Deputy Director (DD), Mrs Josephine Ng. Three officers (Andrew Chang, Teo Wing-on, Francis Po) of the Technical Administration Branch (TAB) introduced to the students the programme for the day and gave them a briefing of the Commission's work. Other activities included office tour to all Divisions of the Commission, networking lunch and job shadowing activities with students' mentors.
The last activity for the students was a debriefing and closing session with our Director, DD, the mentors and TAB staff. The students and mentors shared their experiences of the day. After our Director's closing remarks and taking group photographs, the Job Shadow Day came to a successful end.
